The Northwest Missouri State Univeristy Madraliers are preparing for the 46th annual Yuletide Feaste
Director of the Northwest Madraliers, Dr. Brian Lanier says many people consider it the start of the holiday season.

"The most important thing and the special thing about this is that it brings together the community, the campus, the faculty, the students.  And there are people who say "our/my holidays don't begin until the Yuletide Feaste happens."  We have folks who come year after year.  Most of those are some student families, but many many of those are community members and they really feel an investment in what goes on in the community.  And other people have told me that it's the best and the classiest event that happens at Northwest.  Well, that's someone else's point of view but I tend to agree."

Vocalist Mitchell Martinez says he was drawn to the Yulteide Feaste because of the spirit of the event.

"The opportunity to be in Yuletide Feaste was always attractive to me.  Just the culmination of holiday spirit, sharing music, sharing good music, it's just such an awesome experience.  And I think that's why I was so interested in being a part of this group."

Vocalist Jaymie Argotsinger says there is nothing quite like it.

"It really stands out compared to everything else that we do. Kind of creating this dinner show and this whole atmosphere that we get to kind of play into is very much unlike anything else we get to do here at Northwest."

The Feaste will be held Friday and Saturday December 6th and 7th at 6:30 p.m. in the J.W. Jones Student Union Ballroom.
